I'm new to fairly new to Claude and just last month (September 2026) I completed the CCAO-F exam after preparing it for 2 weeks. Right after that without any gap, I started preparing for CCAF. The exam is fairly difficult, I almost gave up on passing because the questions were quite confusing given that i dont actually have any hands on with Claude cause it costs for API, and i was mentally preparing for a retake. To my surprise, I did clear it with 781 score, not that great but good enough. I went through an course that my organisation has prepared, writing notes all along. My advice, please complete all the certsafari practice questions, they will DEFINITELY help you. Other resources are some good playlists on Youtube to brush up. GL!!!

I havent encountered with CI/CD question, it really was difficult. There I have spent lots of times, I didnt known about bare, append system promt, how to pass context, it is real gap. Actually a real exam contains the similar question like here but more vague answers, real hard tochoise one of them, in cersafari the answers more clear

The exam questions are very similar to the Certsafari practice mock tests. My suggestion is to focus on learning the concepts in each domain and complete the domain-wise mock exams separately. This approach helps build a stronger understanding of the topics and makes it easier to crack the exam

It was hard. Some questions were harder than here, some were at the same level. Several ones were about digging into quite details, like what exact configuration parameter, or number, or model. Since it is still Beta version of the exam, not sure if such detailed questions will be present in general exam after January. Take as much questions from this resource as possible, Use copy to LLM AI (ChatGPT/Geminy) option (loved this much) to get detailed explanation of your wrong, guessed and even correct one answers. Use Pro/payed accounts for LLM to get useful explanations, as Lite/Free AI LLM models usually miss important for exam details. Open all the links the AI suggests and read, read, read.

It was not too tough. The questions were mostly about the decisions that we would make in a scenario. I got no technical questions realted to code or schema. Two choices were really close to choose from in atleast 15 questions. Rest of the questions were easy to decide. CertSafari practise really helped. I had 58% coverage and 75%+ Performance. Dont practise exams which gives really easy answers to choose from. Questions themselves aren't tough but to choose the correct option you need to know all the basics at a good level.

The exam questions were pretty similar to the practice questions on CertSafari. So you can really prepare for the exam by doing quizzes here, studying answers and memorizing patterns. I'd also recommend to separately study claude cli flags and usage.

Not sure about the weightage of different sections as there were multiple from the same concept. If you get the concept right, you have better chances. Practice questions do help but they were less than 10 out of 100 questions in the exam. So, concepts are important. i practiced 550 Certsafari questions and that helped.

CertSafari mock exams were really helpful for me getting this certification. In the actual examination, options were more confusing and multiple options seems like correct than in the CertSafari exams. But reading questions few times and understanding the scenario will eventually lead you to the right answer if you are prepared good. I recommend to attempt CertSafari exams multiple times until you consistently hit 90% or above, which will make your fundamentals strong and build enough confidence.

The questions are fairly similar to what's in CertSafari (about 70%) and they're a bit harder. The biggest difference is that the answers on the exam are mostly all correct and you have to choose the "most correct" one. My strategy was to quickly move through all questions, answer those with high confidence and then repeat the cycle, giving myself more time to think on those harder ones.

Unlike the CCDV-F, which was easier than the practice exams, in this case the actual exam was somewhat more complex. The answers were ambiguous and difficult to eliminate.

Questions: 55, not 45 (likely unscored). Style similar to CertSafari. Time: Plenty. Finished with 10-15 min spare to review flagged ones. Choices: Often 2 of 4 are very similar, so harder to deduce. CertSafari’s wrong answers are more obvious. Most still clear if you’ve practised. Auto Loader/COPY INTO/managed connector questions are scenario-based, so know when each fits, the most common questions. Code: Quite a few ask for the correct SQL or DataFrame code for a described transformation; CertSafari uses sentences. understand correct order. Harder: Optimisation, CI/CD. Rare but tough, so don’t skip them. Prep: Followed the Databricks AI Prep Guide with Claude to learn the logic and rubber duck unclear parts, then CertSafari questions.

It is moderately easy if you already hands-on experience or if you practice about 250 questions and achieve a score of over 80%. In my case I have the bare minimum of experience and got my lowest score in the Managing Data section.

In the exam guide they say the exam is multiple-choice but I had only 1 multiple-choice question in all 55. There is 90 minutes limit. I was prepared for time pressure, so I read every question only briefly and then came back for those which I was unsure about. Even with the brief read, I was able to mark the correct ones on the first try, there were not catches like "not" in the question, and as was said, after a quick consideration 2/4 options were clearly wrong. Overall I'd say the questions were rather talkative.

The exam was not particularly tough, but most of the questions focused on making decisions based on different scenarios. I felt that the exam had fewer technical questions compared to the ones I practiced on CertSafari.
